[Image 1: Bodega Head] To escape a 100-degree Bay Area summer, I drove to Bodega Head in July. I climbed to the top, waited hours for the perfect light, and captured this moment.
[Image 2: Pescadero Beach 1] Back when I was cooking at a beachside hotel in Half Moon Bay, I’d hunt for photos every afternoon. I love this Pescadero Beach shot for its contrast: the chaotic, lace-like patterns of the waves hitting the sharp, geometric lines of the rock.
[Image 3: Pescadero Beach 2] Also from Pescadero, but a completely different vibe. I love how the storm clouds look so ominous in the background, yet they parted just enough to let the sunset pierce through. It’s one of my all-time favorites.
